Keystone Lodge & Spa Unveils Improvements
DENVER, Colo. - January 7, 2008 - Colorado Ski Country proudly
announces these January events.
- Arapahoe Basin is set to open Montezuma Bowl later this
month. The Montezuma Bowl expansion will increase the ski
area's terrain by 80 percent this coming ski season. The 400-acre
Montezuma Bowl, located on the backside of Arapahoe Basin, will be
the nation's largest terrain expansion for the 2007-2008 ski
season. The resort worked closely with the White River
National Forest and other agencies to ensure that the design and
construction of Montezuma Bowl have minimal environmental impact on
the terrain.
The new terrain will include blue, black and double black slopes
for a total of 36 additional runs. The skier and rider will
discover cornices, chutes, glades and wide-open bowls. Several runs
will be groomed nightly, providing the intermediate guest with much
coveted additional cruising terrain. Hike-back terrain past the
lower lift terminal will also be available for the adventurous
skier or rider who has more interest in experiencing a remote, back
country feel. Visit www.ArapahoeBasin.com for
more details.
- Copper Mountain hosts the largest consumer demo tour in the
snowboard world, Burton Super Demo & Am Series, January
11-13. The weekend will include free demos of Burton boards,
boots and bindings along with the chance to check out new products
and interactive experiences from the Super Demo Tour Partners:
Volvo, Paul Mitchell, GORE-TEX®, anon optics and R.E.D. Also,
skiers and riders will compete for a spot in the 2008 US Open and
cash prizes. Visit www.CopperColorado.com

- Keystone Lodge & Spa unveils a remodeled spa featuring 100
percent wind power, organic products, indigenous ingredients,
eco-friendly staff uniforms, and natural light. The spa will
feature 10 total treatment rooms with more than 10,000 square feet
in total, and that is not even including the pool. The additions
feature five new treatment rooms including an infinity-edge chromo
therapy tub, a Vichy shower room, a couple's room, a
manicure/pedicure area and a beautifully designed relaxation
