Denver, Colo. - March 25, 2010 - Informed shoppers are finding
the ski season's best deals blossoming at resorts around the state.
Mutli-day lift ticket discounts, stay and play packages, and
early-bird reductions on 2010-11 passes are giving snow enthusiasts
an extra reason to celebrate spring. Below is a round-up of skiing
deals offered at CSCUSA member resorts around the state:
Spring Passes
A-Basin is offering its Spring 3 Pass, which is valid for
three non-transferable ski days until the close of the 2009-10 ski
season (tentatively scheduled for June 6, 2010). With this pass,
skiers and riders get three days of skiing or riding for the
regular-ticket-window price of two days. To sweeten the deal, the
resort throws in $10 off of any rental package and a $50 morning
class lesson for the passholder, available on the day the pass is
used. Spring 3 Passes are available for sale until April 4,
2010.
Guests who want to take advantage of the lesson discount with the 3
Pass must make a reservation at least 24 hrs in advance by calling
888-ARAPAHOE.
For skiers and riders who plan to be up a lot in the late season,
Arapahoe Basin is still selling its Arapahoe Basin Only Passes,
which are $299 for adults, $199 for youth age 15-19, and $109 for
children age six to 14. The A-Basin Only Pass provides unlimited,
unrestricted access to A-Basin for the rest of the 2009-10 season
and discounts on lessons, food, retail, and lift tickets for
friends and family.
Aspen/Snowmass has taken the gloves off with its lodging
deals this spring. Based on availability and specific dates, rooms
start as low as $37.50 per night in Aspen and $35 per night in
Snowmass. Plus, the resort now offers special seven-day advance
pricing on two-day lift tickets.
Guests can save big by booking lift tickets, lessons and equipment
rentals seven days in advance of their vacation. Plus,
booking ahead saves time by having lift tickets delivered directly
to the guests' lodge. Guests can save even more by renting
ski/snowboard equipment from Four-Mountain Sports, thus leaving
their gear at home and avoiding airline baggage fees.
Purchase two or more days of lift tickets, equipment rentals and
ski & snowboard school at least seven days in advance and save
an additional 10 percent off the advance purchase price when
packaging all three at the same time. Purchase lift tickets with
either equipment rentals or a lesson and save an additional five
percent.
Time is running out to take advantage of these deals, with
Buttermilk and Aspen Highlands closing on April 4th and Aspen
Mountain and Snowmass closing on April 11th.

season-until Sunday, May 2. The caveat: all four lift tickets
must be used on the same day they are purchased.
