ARAPAHOE BASIN
Spring Only Passes
The A-Basin Spring Pass allows guests unlimited, unrestricted access to A-Basin for the remainder of the 2008/09 season, five unrestricted days at Bear Valley, CA, one unguided day of skiing at Silverton Mountain, 10 percent off retail at Arapahoe Sports and Black Mountain Sport, a free two-and-a-half-hour group lesson, and 10 percent off food and beverage. ASPEN/SNOWMASS
Perfect Storm Package
The perfect storm package at Aspen/Snowmass allows a guest who purchases four days of lodging, lift tickets, and rentals to receive the fifth day and night for free. Each guest booking the package receives the Perfect Storm-Card, which is good for in-resort discounts including 10 percent off lunches at select on-mountain restaurants, 15 percent off up to two adult group ski school lessons, 25 percent off any retail or tuning and repairs at any of the Four Mountain Sports or D&E locations. Spring Break Deal
The Spring Break Deal at Copper includes two-for-one performance and demo rentals, two-for-one snow tubing, and two-for-one One Hit Wonder sessions at Woodward at Copper, as well as 50 percent off private lessons. March and April, Bud Light Big Air Fridays at Aspen/Snowmass    
This popular eight-week series is entering its seventh year at the largest of the four area mountains, Snowmass. It has become a mainstay and weekly favorite for the best snowboarders and skiers in the state of Colorado. Each week, they gather to perform the latest tricks for a chance at a weekly prize purse and series points on the busy Fanny Hill/Snowmass Mall intersection. Judges will choose four skiers and four snowboarders from the jam session to continue on to the finals. The finalists will have one jump and then be placed according to best trick. A live band performs after every Bud Light Big Air Friday from 3-4:30 p.m., then stick around for fireworks at 7 p.m. above Fanny Hill. March 6, 13, 20, 27; April 3. March 5, 12, & 19, Young At Heart at Powderhorn

March 6-9, Survivor Celebration at Crested Butte
Women who have gone through cancer are invited to take part in an energizing long weekend of outdoor adventures in Crested Butte with the Adaptive Sports Center. The cost to participate for local residents is $375 per person. It includes three days of private alpine skiing or snowboarding instruction, a one-day Nordic skiing excursion, three days of yoga or therapeutic dance, and 1-2 meals per day. March 8, Expression Sessions Half Pipe at Purgatory at Durango Mountain Resort
The series includes competitions ranging from slopestyle and halfpipe to jib jams. Prizes are awarded at each event. Competitions are open to skiers and boarders of all ages. Helmets are required and participants under 18 must have a parent present at competition. The competition will take place at Pitchfork Terrain Park and the cost is $15 per competitor. March 8, Wax n Wheels at Sunlight
This type of race is the newest Olympic sport and will make its debut at the 2010 Vancouver, winter Olympics. The Wax 'n Wheels Rider-X provides excitement for athletes and spectators alike as competitors race down a course of bumps, huge jumps and banked corners at speeds of over 70kph, 4 at a time. With 4 skiers, boarders or mountain bikers racing at the same time at such high speeds this race will provide the thrills and spills to make it the most exciting event of the season. March 14, O' Fuego & St. Patrick's Day Celebration at Copper

March 22 and 27, Bud Light Hi-Fi Concert Series at Aspen/Snowmass    
The Bud Light Hi-Fi Concert Series hosted by Aspen/Snowmass debuted in November and continues through March with a series of free outdoor concerts held during key events and peak weekends throughout the season. Join Echo Mountain and Salomon Skis for the Jib Academy, a global freeski tour for athletes 16 and under. March 28-29, Subaru's Master the Mountain at Loveland
This event is dedicated to promoting a safe and enjoyable snowrider environment. The Special Olympics Winter Games mark the culmination of the winter sports season for the 550 athletes who annually participate in alpine skiing, cross country skiing, figure skating, snowshoeing and snowboarding.  This season marks the 21st consecutive year Copper Mountain will host the event. Copper is proud to be the official winter training site for all Colorado-based winter Special Olympics athletes as well as the official host for the Winter Games through 2010. April 4, New Belgium Scavenger Hunt at Loveland
Participants build their teams and sign up for a day of riddles, clues, problem solving, great prizes, and New Belgium beer as they race around the mountain scoring points and having fun. This is a day to don the best costume, chase chickens, search for Bigfoot, and answer ridiculous riddles all while skiing, raising money for a local non-profit, and bonding with friends. After the hunt, guests can join for Beerlicious post party to continue celebrating with coveted awards, impromptu dancing, and a chance to win a New Belgium cruiser. April 4, 4th Annual Kayaks on Snow at Monarch
This Boatercross event sends multiple kayaks down a specially constructed Boatercross course on the Freeway run. Kayakers from the Colorado and New Mexico region will be competing for prizes and bragging rights. The winner is awarded a new kayak, second place wins a cruiser bicycle, and third place receives a 2009-10 Monarch season pass. Participant registration for the event is $20. April 11 - 12, Springalicious at Steamboat
Steamboat closes out the winter season with a party. Visitors will watch the 29th Annual SmartWool Cardboard Classic on Saturday, April 11th. The Cardboard Classic is a traditional rite of spring featuring homemade crafts constructed only from cardboard, glue, string, water-based paint, duct tape and masking tape. Crafts race down the face of Headwall to a hysterical finish. Then on Sunday, guests take part in, or just watch, the second annual Splashdown Pond Skim. The Pond Skimming competition features Steamboat's bravest skiers and riders who attempt to cross an ice-cold pond at the base of the mountain, while being judged on distance, outfit creativity and crowd response. Copper will be sizzling when Sunsation, the original end-of-season party, returns for its ninth year.
